A provider accredited by the UAE authorities to validate, transmit and report e-invoices on behalf of businesses.
An Accredited Service Provider, or ASP, is a company accredited by the UAE authorities to act as a Peppol access point for e-invoicing. The ASP receives structured invoices from your ERP, validates them against PINT AE, delivers them to the buyer's ASP, and reports the tax data to the Federal Tax Authority.
It matters because you cannot comply without one. Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an ASP by 30 October 2026, ahead of the Phase 1 start on 1 January 2027. The ASP is a contracted supplier with its own fees, service levels and connector requirements, so the choice has cost and operational consequences for years.
In an ERP project, pick the ASP and the ERP connector together. Ask which ERP platforms the ASP already connects to, how it handles inbound invoices, what happens when its service is down, and whether it covers KSA ZATCA if you trade there. Treat the ASP contract as part of the implementation scope.
