Traders make money on buying well, holding the right stock and collecting on time. Kaido implements systems that show true landed cost, stock by location and customer credit before the sale is confirmed.
Freight, duty, clearing and insurance are expensed separately, so the gross margin on every sale is overstated and the real cost per unit is unknown.
Free zone, mainland and bonded stock live in separate sheets, so sales promises stock that is in the wrong location or already allocated.
Customers exceed credit limits because the limit is checked at month end, and the sales team learns about overdue accounts from accounts, not the system.
Price lists, customer-specific terms and promotions are negotiated per deal, so the same product sells at five prices and nobody approves the exceptions.
A purchase order carries the supplier price, and when the shipment arrives, freight, customs duty, clearing and insurance are added as landed cost to the received units. The stock value and every later sale reflect the true cost, and the margin report is one the owner can trust.
Stock is held by warehouse and location: free zone, mainland, bonded, consignment at customer sites. Sales orders reserve stock where it sits, transfers between locations create the right customs and VAT documents, and reorder rules fire by location rather than for the company as a whole. Lots and expiry dates are tracked where the product needs them.
On the sales side, each customer has a credit limit, payment terms and a price list. The order is blocked at confirmation if the account is over limit or overdue, and the salesperson sees it on their phone before the customer does. Commission, targets and the pipeline sit in the same system as the invoice, so sales reporting needs no reconciliation.
Traders carry the most VAT complexity in the UAE: standard-rated mainland sales at 5%, zero-rated exports, designated zone movements and reverse charge on imports. The system must assign the right treatment per transaction and produce a return that reconciles to the ledger and to customs declarations.
Corporate tax at 9% on profit above AED 375,000 makes inventory valuation and landed cost a tax question. Consistent costing methods and provisions for slow stock need an audit trail.
E-invoicing arrives on 1 January 2027 for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more and on 1 July 2027 for everyone else. Invoices must be issued in PINT AE format through an Accredited Service Provider on the Peppol five-corner model. High-volume traders should plan the ASP connection early; those above the threshold needed one appointed by 30 October 2026. Late compliance costs AED 5,000 per month.
The price is fixed before the build. Discovery covers your product master, warehouses, pricing rules and the sales process, and the written scope is signed before configuration starts.
Delivery moves through design, configuration, data migration of items, stock and open balances, user testing on live orders, go-live and hypercare. Each phase closes with a gate you approve.
Stock counts are scheduled into the plan so opening balances are right on day one. After go-live, a support contract keeps the same consultants on your account for fixes, training and the next phase.
When the goods receipt is posted, the forwarder, customs and clearing invoices are linked to it and allocated across the received lines by value, weight or quantity. The unit cost in stock rises accordingly, and later sales use that cost in margin reporting. Invoices arriving after the receipt can still be applied retrospectively.
Yes. Each warehouse carries its own location, VAT treatment and, where needed, its own legal entity. Moving goods from a designated zone to mainland raises the right customs and VAT entries. Sales staff see available stock across all locations but the system controls which location fulfils and how the invoice is taxed.
The CRM and order entry work on mobile. A salesperson can check stock, price list and the customer's credit position at the customer's desk, raise the order and have it confirmed by the warehouse before leaving. Visit logs and pipeline live in the same place, so management reporting does not depend on a separate sales app.
Yes, with multi-company and multi-currency. Each country entity keeps its own ledger, VAT or ZATCA setup and chart of accounts, while group reports consolidate. NetSuite and Dynamics 365 are strongest at consolidation; Odoo Enterprise handles it well for most mid-sized groups. KSA entities need ZATCA e-invoicing integration, which is part of the scope.
