The business
Al Eatemad Butchery is a multi-branch retail and food business in the UAE, selling fresh product across several locations. As the branch count grew, the systems that ran the business did not grow with it. Each branch operated as its own island, and the head office had no single, current view of what was actually in stock across the network.
The problem
Every branch tracked inventory manually. Stock levels lived in separate spreadsheets, so gaps between branches surfaced only after a customer order had already failed. Fast-moving fresh product made the problem sharper: a shortage at one branch could not be covered from another because nobody could see, in the moment, where the stock actually sat.
Order handling was slow because staff were reconciling numbers by hand, and daily stock discrepancies had quietly become an accepted cost of doing business. The real risk was not the admin time. It was lost sales and wasted product, every single day, hidden inside a process everyone assumed was normal.
What we did
Kaido implemented one ERP across the whole network, configured around how the counter and back-office teams actually work rather than a textbook process.
- A single ERP for stock, purchasing and orders across all branches, with one source of truth for inventory
- Live inter-branch stock visibility, so a shortage at one branch is seen and covered before it costs a sale
- Order workflows rebuilt around the real counter process, cutting the manual reconciliation out of every transaction
- Validated, zero-loss data migration and role-based training, rolled out branch by branch so no location went dark during the switch
Stock unified across every branch, and order processing time cut by 60%.
"Order processing time cut by 60%, with stock finally unified across every branch. Kaido delivered exactly what they promised, on schedule."Al Eatemad Butchery
Why it worked
The outcome came from the same discipline every Kaido engagement runs on. Scope and price were fixed and signed at the blueprint gate, so there were no surprises. The data migration was validated and reconciled before go-live rather than hoped to be right. And training was role-based and repeated until the system stuck on the floor, not just in a manual. The senior consultant who scoped the project is the one who delivered it, so nothing was lost in a handoff.
Al Eatemad has been on a 24/7 Kaido AMC support arrangement since go-live, so the system keeps pace with the business rather than drifting back toward spreadsheets.
